Travis Tucker and Matt Clervi are friends with a mutual passion for food service, catering, and event planning. With the demand for more event planning, and after several years of bleu Restaurant offering catering services to Columbia residents, they decided to form a partnership and create bleu Events. bleu Events offers clients an innovative full-service catering experience by combining both companies expertise in the food industry. From event coordination and conception, our professional and experienced staff will assist you with every step of the planning process. From setup and décor, to food presentation and bar service. There are no limitations on what we can do.


Travis grew up in a rural Southern Missouri community. His love of food came from working on the farm and cooking with his grandmother. This background inspired Travis to open bleu Restaurant & Catering in 2007. He has executive management experience in all aspects of food service and dining management. His entrepreneurial spirit understands the importance of providing a superior product and experience for each and every one of his guests. Travis has a degree in History, Theatre & Psychology from the University of Missouri Columbia, and has worked in the hospitality industry in Tennessee, the Virgin Islands, and Florida before moving back to Columbia to live, work, and raise his family.
